Burnt Barrel Social - Sugar Grove

Both warm, homey and somehow modern. Beautiful and clean restaurant with great food and wine. We are really glad we found this place. My aunt and I had excellent salads. My salmon was huge and perfectly cooked. Wish I would have taken a picture, the flavor never stopped. I had the Rough Day Pinot and it was very smooth and tasted great The kids had root beer in chilled glasses and their Mac and cheese came with fries. This is a solid bar food place. My beef wick was excellent! Lots of beef and it was tender. People really liked there burgers. My side salad was good. The cheese curds were salty. Service was excellent

Great dining experience for my wife and our friends. My prime rib was delicious!! We will definitely be back. Also, our waitress was amazing whose name is Sophia just like our daughter.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to review this place. My wife and I have come here many times since they've opened, a couple of the servers know us by face, and everyone has always been friendly and helpful. The food is good, and the only time my wife did not like something that was served, they took it off the bill and got her something else instead. A year or so ago they had a killer meatloaf dish as a special... I wish they would do this more often, or add it to the menu. Speaking of the menu, it is pretty basic, and I don't think that they have changed much over the years so I wish they would add a few new items every so often. But, the fact that they keep their menu pretty much the same makes it easy to have an idea ahead of time what you want to eat. My favorite dishes are the Italian beef, the steak salad, and the nachos (although I don't order them often because I can never finish a serving ).

Great experience with friends. The remodel turned out great, much LARGER on the inside than expected. Nice, quaint outside seating area, too. Staff is very nice. Menu is great. Must try the key lime pie. The grouper was amazing my friend had... Chicken Parm was great and the portions are large. Have to say my favorite thing was the CREAM OF ONION SOUP!! Plenty of parking in the back. Dining room area sections are large and easy for large groups to gather! Looking to do a Harley Mystery Dinner Ride Here...

Beautiful atmosphere. Very welcoming front entrance area with lots of seating and a huge bar. Dining room off to the side along with high tops around the bar. Plenty of TVs and nicely decorated. The nachos are awesome and huge portions as we ordered the half order. Burger was great, nice and hardy at 10oz. Buffalo chicken sandwich was also a large portion and tasty along with the curds. Definitely a modern and upscale place to hangout for the game or enjoy a nice dinner. Service was great and food came out even as they were busy on a Thursday evening. Would go back.

Meet up with friends for a couple birthday celebrations, 10 of us and the food and drinks were very good. The cheese curds from Wisconsin we're definitely great, and the three sausage platter was also very good.

A true hidden gem! Love love looooved our bartender and the decor was surprisingly SUPER cute. I was not expecting this in sugar grove for some reason. It’s actually nicer than the other location I’ve previously been to. The steak nachos and chili are a MUST. I loved the Back to Basics Old Fashioned and apple whiskey margarita. Only complaint was the menu pricing didn’t match what they actually charged… so I would just say work on that so there is nothing people can complain about. Don’t add extra hidden fees to the cocktails without communication. Will definitely be back as the food, drinks, and customer service were all on point. I can’t wait to try the key lime pie next time and I’m excited to see the patio in the summer/fall.
